Toddler

15 months of age to 2.9 years old

The toddler age is when personalities begin to shine through and new steps to independence can be seen daily. From transitioning to sippy cup, taking on finger food and even some begin making trips to the bathroom. It is an exciting time as your child explores new territories and begins forming relationships. Walking, talking and discovering a new world of play.
Toddlers learn through sensory experiences that improve their motor and social skills. At Open Arms we focus many of our activities around hands-on play time for sensory development and circle time with friends for songs. These activities assist children in forming new friendships and give them opportunities to express themselves. At Open Arms, we will work with each child to develop his or her own unique style and explore new interests.
